StopForce™ Blast Containment System

StopForce™ Blast Containment Systems save time and money when carrying out pressure testing of Blowout Prevention Equipment Systems on drilling rigs, or in an area or industry that needs to protect personnel from high pressure releases or blasts.

A layer of proprietary Xtegra™ fabric is covered in fire-rated PVC polyester with high performance rope sewn around the perimeter allowing the StopForce™ Blast Curtain to be attached to the framework. This attachment is achieved using roller hangers, heat-treated steel double-locking carabiners and stainless steel hoist rings.

This system allows the StopForce™ Blast Curtain to be easily moved into position while pressure testing and operations are conducted; then easily retracted allowing full access to the protected space. This results in less downtime and allows personnel to conduct simultaneous operations (SIMOPS) in a safer working environment.
